Bowling Balls follows the story of two girls who break down out in the middle of "what you would call nothingness" during a road trip to Daytona. But almost as if it were too good to be true, a "localer" and "propateer" of a bed and breakfast in town, Mr. Violent J, comes to the rescue. Rather than sit in an old broken down truck in the middle of nowhere while they wait for their friends to come pick them up, they decide to go with J. About 10 seconds in the door is when the bloody mayhem ensues as Shaggy, J's retarded hunchback brother, comes in out of left field and lops one of the girl's head off. Meanwhile, their friends--a snooty Asian girl, a pothead jock and a preppy black guy--are on their way to the bed and breakfast to pick them up. Totally unaware of what is about to happen to them. Soon hatchets will be lodged into foreheads, heads will be accidentally chopped off with scythes and a particularly hilarious scene follows where Shaggy ruthlessly severs a head for a good 2 or 3 minutes. All the while going back and forth from comedic horror show to upbeat and bloody music video.

After his training gets over, he rushes to Kajal to propose to her, only to find out that she has given her heart to multimillionaire, Karan Singhania, who owns several airplanes and choppers. Raj congratulates Kajal and Karan, but does not reveal his true feelings. Thereafter the Malhotras move to Nainital, and Raj relocates to Europe for more training. It is here that he meets gorgeous and fun-loving, Jiya, who falls in love with him, and will do anything to marry him. She even re-locates to India, and lives with the Malhotras. Raj finally gives in to Jiya's persistence and agrees to marry her. A delighted Jiya takes Raj to introduce him to her parents, and this is where Raj will find out that her parents are none other than the Singhanias - the same family that Kajal had married into, and that Jiya is Karan's sister. A stunned Raj also finds out that Karan has passed away in a helicopter accident, leaving Kajal a mental wreck. Raj nurses Kajal back to normalcy, and rekindles his love for her. This does not go unnoticed by Jiya, and she forces Kajal to consent to getting married to her friend, Monty, so that she can have Raj for herself. The question remains will Raj give up his love for Kajal and marry Jiya, or will he end up breaking Jiya's heart and not marrying either one of them?

Orphaned, Miss Dorothy, just recently arrived, is a naive, old-fashioned girl from a seemingly privileged background who has aspirations to be a stage actress. From more modest means, Millie, in New York for three months, used to be old fashioned, but now has a new modern sensibility and look to match, complete with bobbed hair and dresses with hemlines above the knee. Included in this new modern sensibility is Millie's goal of getting a job as a stenographer, with a quick promotion to being her wealthy boss' "Mrs.". Love is not to factor into the equation. She believes she's found the right employer in the form of chisel-jawed Trevor Graydon of the Sincere Trust Insurance Company. Millie's pursuit of Mr. Graydon is despite the fact that Mr. Graydon sees her as one of the boys, he has old fashioned sensibilities, and Millie herself has a mutual attraction to another boy named Jimmy Smith. Although she likes Jimmy, Millie feels that Jimmy, as a paper clip salesman with an overwhelming happy-go-lucky attitude, is not driven enough to be husband material. That doesn't stop Jimmy's pursuit of Millie. In her association with Jimmy, Millie meets flamboyant wealthy Renaissance woman Muzzy Van Hossmere. Jimmy's father once worked as Muzzy's gardener. Originally from humble means much like Millie, Muzzy tries to convince Millie that true love will lead to happiness, as that is what happened when she met the now deceased Mr. Van Hossmere who she had no idea was rich. In other goings-on among this new circle of friends, Miss Dorothy leaves New York without a word to anyone except Mrs. Meers. Thinking this situation rather odd, Millie connects Miss Dorothy's leaving with that of other girls previously living at the Priscilla Hotel. With Mr. Graydon's help, Jimmy and Millie try to find out what happened to Miss Dorothy.
